The Kurz 454FTB-WGF Shows Accuracy for GHG Reporting
Glendale, AZ, May 7-9, 2014: The 87th Annual Arizona Water Association Conference & Exhibition attracted more than 2,500 attendees for the two-day event. Among the 200+ exhibitors, Kurz Instruments and Instrumentation and Controls (IAC) were the only ones representing thermal flow meters.
The Kurz Koopersonic wet gas simulator clarifies the problems condensing gas environments create for thermal flow meters. Many visitors said that it now made sense why they could never get accurate readings using a thermal meter with a low overheat. They also noticed that all other meters over-read by a factor of 50%-100%, and that the capabilities of the WGF will save facilities from over-reporting GHG emission and fines. Best of all, several engineering companies wanted immediate information on the WGF to include in their digester and flare line specifications.
